Simon Wilson
(Lead Tutor)
Simon brings an array of experience as a UKCP registered and COSRT psychotherapist. His background spans clinical practice, corporate management, and academic teaching.
Dr. Benjamin Davis
(Visiting Tutor, Sexual Medicine)
Dr. Ben Davis is a clinical sexologist and general practitioner (GP) based in London. He is a member of the committee of the British Society of Sexual Medicine and is a Fellow of the European Committee of Sexual Medicine. After medical school and a PhD focused on men's sexual and emotional well-being, he undertook further substantial training in internal medicine, sexual health and obstetrics and gynaecology before moving into general practice. Currently, Dr. Davis is in the final stages of training as a COSRT-certified sex and relationship therapist.
Angela Gregory
(Visiting Tutor, Psychosexual Dysfunction)
With over two decades of experience at Nottingham University Hospital, Angela is an expert in psychosexual therapy, offering compassionate care and in-depth knowledge.
Dr. Dwight Turner
(Visiting Tutor, EDI)
Dr. Turner is a senior lecturer, writer, researcher and psychotherapist who integrates issues of privilege and otherness into his practice and teaching. His work challenges students to consider the broader socio-political contexts of psychosexual psychotherapy.
Dr. Glyn Hudson Allez
(Visiting Tutor, Sexual Compulsion and Trauma-Informed Practice)
Dr. Allez has a distinguished career in forensic psychosexual therapy, with a deep understanding of trauma and its impact on sexual behaviour. Her approach is both compassionate and evidence-based.
Dr. Andrew Smith
(Visiting Tutor, Sexual Offending)
Dr. Smith is an expert in the field of sexual offending and safeguarding, bringing over 20 years of experience to his role as a trainer and therapist. His work focuses on rehabilitating offenders and supporting their families.
Michael Chamberlain
(Visiting Tutor, GSRD)
Michael is an advanced Qualifying Gender, Sexual, and Relationship Diversity (GSRD) counsellor with extensive experience in humanistic and person-centred counselling. He specialises in working with individuals and couples from diverse backgrounds, focusing on the impact of relational connections on life experiences. Michael has trained in Family and Systemic Practice at the Tavistock and Portman, and his private practice emphasizes inclusive and affirmative therapy for GSRD clients. At the Institute, he will be leading modules on GSRD, bringing his expertise in neurodiversity, trauma-informed care, and systemic approaches to our students.
